Mar 2017 - DINE CONTRACT CATERING ARE AT IT AGAIN WITH 2017 DOFE TRIATHLON EVENT!

 

Team Members from Dine Contract Catering are looking to raise another £10,000 in the company’s latest fundraising efforts which saw the team take part in a gruelling cycle ride across the country last year.

 

The funds are donated to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, a charity dedicated to supporting young people aged between 14 and 24 – many of whom are from a disadvantaged background – to develop the life and work skills needed to help them reach their full potential.  Dine Contract Catering is a long-time supporter of the charity and has raised almost £40,000 for the charity in the last 4 years.

 

This year’s charity event is an exciting Lakeland Triathlon which will see a 40 mile mountain bike route in the Southern Lake District on day one. The second day will be an 11 mile kayak across Lake Windermere and then a hike over 4 Wainwrights to the campsite. Day three will be another kayak in Ullswater finishing off with another hike to Pooley Bridge.  All this whilst camping and cooking for themselves!
