Oct 2015 - DINE CONTRACT CATERING JOINS LIST OF TOP APPRENTICESHIP EMPLOYERS
Fast-growing entrepreneurial operator, Dine Contract Catering, has ranked among the top 50 companies in the country as an outstanding employer of apprentices in The Sunday Telegraph’s Top Apprenticeship Careers List 2015.
Raising awareness of the value of apprenticeships and showcasing the range of truly innovative schemes for apprentices, the list includes household names such as Royal Mail and Hilton Worldwide. The final 50 were selected by judges including Angela Eagle MP, Shadow First Secretary of State and Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and Colin Campbell-Austin, Head of Talent and People Development at Telegraph Media Group.
“Developing fresh talent is crucial to the success not only of our company, but to the hospitality industry as a whole, and we’re proud to be recognised among the companies doing their best to drive this forward,” said Dine Contract Catering Managing Director, Ian Cartwright.
“Many of our apprentices have chosen to pursue their careers with us and continue to make a valuable contribution to the business, which is why we’re happy to continue our commitment of taking on at least 10 new apprentices every year.
“We fully welcome the Government’s efforts to further drive uptake of apprenticeships and encourage other companies to recognise the benefits that come with making an apprenticeship scheme an integral part of their business.”
With positions available across the company, Dine Contract Catering’s apprenticeships include the opportunity to study for an NVQ in hospitality, as well as take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
