We are proud to announce our 100th apprentice completer, after the scheme was set up in 2014 to encourage new talent within the Contract Catering Industry.

Beth Lowde is the 100th Team Member to achieve an apprenticeship qualification (NVQ).  Based in Mansfield, 18 year old Beth started working with us in August 2014, and has completed her Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service apprenticeship, while working full time as a general assistant. Throughout her qualification Beth has consistently demonstrated fantastic customer service as well as developing essential workplace skills.

Dine Contract Catering offers a wide range of apprenticeships to new and existing Team Members of any age. We feel it is important to equip them with the skills required to produce and serve food to the highest possible standards for our clients. We are excited that, working with our training provider, HIT Training, we have secured apprenticeship funding, meaning that we now have Team Members undertaking apprenticeships in England, Scotland and Wales.

Recently awarded as an outstanding employer of apprentices in The Sunday Telegraph’s Top Apprenticeship Careers List, we have continued expanding the number of work placements offered to young people from a range of FE catering colleges. This has provided students with real and valuable life and work skills and opened their eyes to the diverse and exciting opportunities that contract catering offers.

With 65 Team Members in active apprenticeships, a recent Quality Mark award from People 1st (for our own bespoke training package), a growing relationship with a number of FE colleges and the 100th NVQ achiever, there has never been so many possibilities available to our Team Members.
