Lauren pursued an IT BTEC course in college before furthering her studies in IT multimedia at Liverpool John Moores University. Her passion for IT led her to take additional courses even after school hours. Joining the Dine IT graduate program in 2015, Lauren progressed from an IT support analyst in 2016 to an IT supervisor in 2022.
Lauren enjoys tackling challenges, delving into problems, and has recently taken on leadership roles in multiple IT projects and rollouts: “Dine had provided amazing support in terms of aiding my skill development and knowledge expansion throughout my career. I really enjoy the diverse range of IT areas I engage with, which has enhanced my expertise and boosted my confidence. The collaborative team spirit at Dine is amazing - regardless of department or role, everyone works together seamlessly and are always ready to help. There are many training courses available to enhance skills and personal growth. Having been with the company for 9 years, I genuinely look forward to work every day. Each day presents new challenges that continue my learning and makes me feel accomplished.”
Aga started her career with Dine in March 2020, as a head chef at one of our client sites. 2 years into her role, Aga was nominated to take part in the Forward with Marcus Waring program - an enhanced culinary programme, which runs alongside a Level 4 Senior Culinary Chef or Level 5 Operations Departmental Manager apprenticeship standard - delivered in partnership with national hospitality training provider, HIT Training. The best-in-class apprenticeship equips chefs with exceptional culinary skills and is brought to life through added value enrichment activities, delivering practical experiences to the group. Aga achieved a distinction in the program and has since moved into a Head Chef role at Dine head office.
Aga has enjoyed progressing her career with the help of the apprenticeship and loves how varied the role is: “Dine allows me to work collaboratively with lots of talented people, and as a team we have the ambition to be the best in the business. I feel valued and incredibly content knowing that I can reach my full potential in the role I am in. Dine is an excellent company that places a significant emphasis on staff development, offering employees the freedom and opportunities to progress, with varied apprenticeship and career pathway options available.”
