What is ethical eating? The answer's simple. It's the peace of mind you get that every bite you take with us is guilt-free. We stand proudly behind all of our environmental, social, and governance promises that serve to cement our reputation as conscious contract caterers.
Big words, but you best believe we can back them up. Our commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2030 is only just the beginning...
At our core, we're a team of Chefs who believe that food is more than just fuel for the body. It can transform how we feel, think, and connect with others. We take our responsibility as caterers seriously, which is why we're committed to sustainable, seasonal sourcing and actively seek out local suppliers and social enterprises.
We firmly believe that knowledge is the cornerstone of positive change.
By 2030, we will be a Climate Net Zero Emissions business. From lifting up local producers and eliminating air freight, to fighting food waste and promoting more plant forward alternatives, our ambitions contain real substance.
We are proud to have the most ambitious Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) validated Climate Net Zero commitment across scope 1, 2 and 3. This demonstrates our dedication to sustainability throughout not only our operations, but also our entire value chain.
In our commitment to foster a culture of well-being and sustainability, we believe that knowledge is power. We embark on a journey to weave health, wellbeing, and sustainability into the fabric of our interactions with your teams.
That's what we believe. You don't need us to tell you the role that food plays in maintaining positive mental, physical and emotional health. So, we make it simple for our customers to make informed choices about how they choose to eat...
We signpost dishes that are fresh, flavourful, and jam-packed full of nutritional goodness. Industry insight tells us that promoting the most nutritious dishes as aspirational and inclusive is the best way to encourage customers to try something healthier.
Over the next 12 months, we are rating the eco-friendliness of our entire recipe portfolio based on environmental factors, including greenhouse gas emissions, water scarcity, water population and biodiversity loss. This initiative sees dishes labelled on a scale from A-E, empowering customers to control their impact.
Dine Contract Catering's charitable work extends from supporting young people's charities to lending a helping hand at homeless shelters over the festive period. We partner with several social enterprise projects, including Liverpool's Steadychefs, an organisation dedicated to teaching essential life skills to adults with learning difficulties.
We do our best to give back to our community simply because it's the right thing to do.
At Dine Contract Catering we are committed to addressing barriers that many face regarding access to jobs, training and development and progression.
